Watched this TED talks video by Sir Ken Robinson this morning... what a fantastically challenging and encouraging clip. He talks about how our current education system is educating the creativity out of us... a system designed to produce university professors (something I myself know all too well...). And it starts in childhood...

This is not to say that there's anything wrong with being a university professor... I should probably clarify for clarity's sake. The most wonderful people I know are my former profs and they represent the highest degree of artistry I have found in real life. But the system... as all systems do... has problems. Problems which can't continue in future generations...
